I’m Lauren, a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Runing Coach based in Warwick & Leamington Spa, South Warwickshire. I’ve worked in Health and Fitness since 2001, mainly as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach but I also worked in Health Club Management for several years.
I’m a keen ultra marathon runner, having competed in various distances from 50km up to 100 miles in one go and in October 2021 I took part in the brutal Marathon Des Sables - a 250km multi stage race (including a single stage 83km day) completed over 7 days across the Sahara Desert., finishing as 1st British Lady and 8th Overall Lady.
After a short break from the industry I returned in 2015 as a freelance mobile Fitness Coach and have since gone onto receive several awards including Amateur Sportswoman of the Year, Muddy Stilettos Best Fitness Instructor, Warwickshire (2017, 2019) and Lucozade Top 50 Movers 2019. I’m also a Brand Ambassador for Salomon and also Voom nutrition and I’m very grateful for their support.
How can I help you?
As proud as I am to have a short list of accolades to my name, I’m also just a very normal middle aged woman who understands how hard it can be to fit in exercise around a busy lifestyle. I take a firm but friendly approach with my clients and athletes, ensuring that they are pushed hard to work towards their goals but also recognise if and when adaptions are required.
I carry much experience in working with people from all different backgrounds, lifestyle, injury management and health conditions.

Run Coaching
I am a UK Athletics qualified Running Coach and have many years of running experience from short distance up to ultra marathons, including desert, mountains, coastal and 24 hour format. I also founded the women’s running group Run Like a Girl and have led a team of Running Leaders to help over 3,000 women to start and progress their running journey. Most importantly though, I just really love running and want to help others to discover their true potential.
You don’t have to be an elite or professional athlete to have a coach. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced runner, everyone can benefit from having a professional to guide them to improve performance or reach that sought after PB.
Benefits of having a Running Coach include;
Accountabilty - having someone to be accountable to will keep you motivated and on target to reach your goals
Personalised plan - tailored to your pace, experience and time available
Investment - much like if you joined a gym you would want your money’s worth, having a coach means that you’ll get the best out of your running
Perspective - a coach will bring perspective to those days when running doesn’t come easily and they will adapt your plan accordingly
Strengths / Weaknesses - a coach will identify which areas work well for you and others that need some development. The result of this is increased performance and lower risk of injury.
Run Coaching prices start at £60 per month with a further option of having a targeted strength plan to compliment your running, for an extra £10 per month.
